Systech Strengthens its Team By Adding Industry Experts and Executives

Cranbury, New Jersey – August 29, 2012 — Systech International, a leading provider of Packaging Execution System (PES) technology to help protect product integrity and authenticity and the recognized global leader in serialization solutions, today announced a major expansion of its employee base in response to the continued increase in demand for its services.
The additions to the Systech team have come both in the US and Europe and include numerous industry experts in IT architecture, Cloud services and project engineers. Systech has also expanded its professional services and leadership group, for its Cranbury, NJ facility, including a VP of Corporate Strategy and a Financial Controller.

New industry experts and executives include: Barry McDonogh, Todd Calhoun, David Cassett and Rob Magee. Earlier this year, Systech hired David Harty as Vice President for the architecture, development, and support of Systech’s Cloud Products and Solutions.
Barry McDonogh has joined Systech as a VP of Business Development & Corporate Strategy. In this role Barry will be responsible for developing Systech’s global partnership program and working to ensure Systech is appropriately structured to better serve customers’ needs. 
Barry joins Systech from United Drug PLC (Ireland) where he spent several years on their Executive Leadership program in numerous roles including General Management, Business Development, Corporate Strategy and most recently Corporate Development where Barry helped to drive the commercial growth of United Drug subsidiaries in the Americas.
 Barry has also held positions at Ernst & Young and Deloitte where he worked in M&A advisory and corporate strategy.
Todd Calhoun joined Systech as Product Manager for Systech’s Guardian Software. Todd is an award-winning Information Technology leader, strong in multiphase technical project management, software development, and Systems Integration. Most recently, he was     
with Siemens as a Senior Consultant in their serialization practice. Prior to that, he was Consulting Manager and Lead Solution Architect, Intelligent Supply Chain Operations Group at Verisign. There, Todd managed the technical design and implementation of a multi-million dollar, multi-year government mandated track-and-trace system for a Fortune 20 pharmaceutical company. Todd was also at IBM where he was Senior IT Architect, Master Data Management and Integration.
David Cassett joined Systech as a Project Engineer with a decade of experience in the practical and technical aspects of RFID and serialization, in pharmaceutical, retail and semiconductor manufacturing settings, in such diverse roles as strategic consulting, solution engineering and system implementation.  As a founder of Avidimo Technology, David provided consulting services in serialization including RFID and barcodes/2D symbols to industry clients. At VeriSign Supply Chain Consulting, he was a Manager, providing technology consulting services to clients for serialization and RFID. David received a Masters of Engineering from MIT in June, 2004, and worked in conjunction with the MIT Auto-ID Center, forerunner of EPCglobal, a worldwide organization leading the development of important serialization-related standards including the Electronic Product Code and EPCIS.  EPCglobal is part of GS1, which oversees the most widely used system of supply-chain standards in the world.
Rob Magee, a founding partner of Apostrophe Systems, joined Systech as Chief Architect, Cloud Services. Prior to Apostrophe, Rob was a Senior Architect at Verisign. He brings 15 years of commercial and enterprise software development experience, specializing in supply chain systems, pharmaceutical manufacturing, RFID, SAP, product serialization and multi-tier application development. In May, 2012, Systech announced its acquisition of Apostrophe Systems, strengthening its position in the Cloud Services serialization market and enabling companies to deploy highly scalable solutions quickly and affordably.
John Meulemeester joined Systech Belgium as a Project Manager.  Prior tojoining Systech John has had an extensive career in project management on international MES and SCADA system deployments. He has additional experience in areas such as coaching, training, application support, and sales. John is fluent in Dutch, English and German and proficient in French and Spanish.
