Lambertville City police reported:
— Gabriel Nagy, 35, of Milford, was arrested for possession of suspected marijuana as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Aug. 22.
Officer Anthony Memolo stopped Mr. Nagy on North Main Street at 8:50 p.m. for failing to yield at a posted yield sign. He allegedly was found in possession of suspected marijuana, under 50 grams, as well as drug paraphernalia and was charged with possession of CDS, drug paraphernalia, possession of CDS in a vehicle and failure to yield. He was later released with a pending court date.
— Cassandra Decker, 32, of Flemington, was arrested for DUI on Aug. 18.
Sgt. Robert Brown stopped Ms. Decker on York Street at 2:54 a.m. after she was observed driving erratically. Ms. Decker was determined to be driving under the influence of alcohol and subsequently charged with DUI, careless driving and failure to keep right. She was later released with a pending court date.
— Bladimir Chavez-Valdes, 28, of West Windsor, was arrested for DUI on Aug. 19.
Officer Michael Gramlich stopped Mr. Chavez-Valdes on Route 29 after he allegedly was observed driving erratically and for having an inoperable rear light. He was determined to be under the influence of alcohol and was charged with DUI, reckless driving, failure to keep right and maintenance of lamps. He was later released with a pending court date.
— Valerie Mitchko, 23, of Stockton, was arrested for DUI, on Aug. 26.
Sgt. Brown stopped Ms. Mitchko on Route 179 at 2:15 a.m. after she was reportedly seen speeding. She was determined to be driving while under the influence of alcohol and subsequently charged with DUI, careless driving and speeding. Ms. Mitchko was later released with a pending court date.
— Pablo Aguilar-Valentin, 29, of Lambertville, was arrested for DUI on Aug. 24.
Officer. Michael Gramlich stopped Mr. Aguilar-Valentin on Coryell Street for failing to stop at a posted stop sign at 2:40 a.m. He was determined to driving under the influence of alcohol and subsequently was charged with DUI, careless driving, failure to stop, unlicensed driver and driving with suspended driving privileges. He was later released with a pending court date.
— Brian Donnelly, 54, of Stockton, was arrested on an outstanding warrant as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Aug. 20.
Officer Gramlich stopped Mr. Donnelly on South Franklin Street for failing to signal a turn. A check revealed that Mr. Donnelly had an outstanding warrant issued by Flemington Borough for failure to appear. Mr. Donnelly posted $300 bail and was released.
— A Lambertville resident was struck by a vehicle as he was riding his bicycle on Aug. 23.
Daniel Meara, 53, was riding his bicycle west on York Street at 6:45 p.m. when he was struck by a vehicle, operated by Jessica Cassano, 29. Ms. Cassano had been exiting a private driveway onto York Street when the crash occurred. Mr. Meara was thrown from his bicycle as a result of the impact, and landed in the roadway. He was transported to Capital Health in Mercer County for treatment of his injuries. The crash is still under investigation at this time.
— A resident reported a burglary and the theft of tools from a garage on North Franklin Street.
The burglary was believed to have occurred during the night of Aug. 23. A blue Ryobi bag containing various power tools was stolen from the garage. The investigation is ongoing.
Suspects are considered innocent unless proven guilty by a court of law
