First Lady Michelle Obama will be coming back to Princeton Sept. 23 to raise money for her husband’s presidential campaign.
Ms. Obama, a 1985 graduate of Princeton University, will headline a fundraiser at the Princeton home of Andrew Golden, president of the university investment company that manages the school’s $17 billion endowment, and his wife, Carol.
Admission to the event starts at a $1,000 donation, according to the Obama campaign website. Donors who give $10,000 get to have their picture taken with the First Lady, the site said.
Mr. and Mrs. Golden have financially supported a wide range of Democratic politicians, including Rep. Rush Holt, and politically liberal groups. Federal election records showed they have given a combined $$63,765 since 2002. Mrs. Golden, employed by Corner House, the local drug abuse program, declined to comment Thursday.
