FALL BASKETBALL WORKOUTS
Presenting a great opportunity for your child to get ready and sharpen their skills for their rec/ CYO/ travel seasons or school try-outs. These intense workouts are geared toward experienced players. For the last two years, these Fall Workouts have sold out in less than 1 week, so please don’t wait to register! Due to the popular demand, it is first come first served … I can’t hold/reserve spots.
WHO: Boys (grades 5-10) and Girls (grades 6-9)
WHAT: Six, 75-minute workouts of basketball training with Dan Schantz (see bio. below) in small groups (12-16)
WHERE: Christ the King School, Manville
WHEN: Six consecutive Sunday or Monday evenings starting the week of September 16th.
TIMES: Sundays: 5:30pm – 6:45pm (6/7 girls)
6:45pm – 8:00pm (7/8 boys)**
8:00pm – 9:15pm (8/9 girls)
Mondays: 5:30pm – 6:45pm (5/6 boys)
6:45pm – 8:00pm (7/8 boys)**
8:00pm – 9:15pm (9/10 boys)
** Please note that there are two sessions available for 7/8 boys.
FOCUS: Individual skill development for perimeter players (ball handling, shooting, offensive moves, creating spacing, etc.) and team concepts (fast break, cutting, spacing, etc.). These workouts will also include competitive drills (3v3, 4v4, etc.).

•17 years of basketball camp experience; director of Dan Schantz Basketball Camp/MMOG Basketball Camp since 2008, co-director of Kevin Boyle Basketball Camp, New Jersey’s premier basketball day camp since 2000.
•17 years as an Assistant Varsity Basketball Coach at St. Patrick High School in Elizabeth, NJ, during which the team had been ranked each year in the USA Today Top 25 and had won five New Jersey Tournament of Champions.
•As an AAU Head Coach, has led teams to two runner-up finishes in the NJ AAU State Tournament, a runner-up at the USBA Nationals in Myrtle Beach, SC, and over 10 AAU in-state tournament championships.
•New Jersey certified Health & Physical Education teacher, with a Master’s degree in Supervision and Administration (currently a K-8 teacher at Bedminster Township School).
