Allentown and Plumsted release details on October events
The Allentown Business Community Association is looking for crafters and vendors interested in participating in the Allentown Fall Festival on Oct. 13 and 14.
The festivities, which typically draw thousands of visitors, take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days in downtown Allentown and include: live music, food, children’s activities Civil War re-enactments in Heritage Park and scores of crafters, artisans and vendors. Admission and parking (at the nearby high school) is free.

Plumsted Township and Main Street New Egypt are sponsoring the Plumsted Fall Festival on Saturday, Oct. 27 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Main Street and North Main St. in downtown New Egypt (Plumsted Township).
The event offers something for everyone, including children’s face painting, pony rides, inflatables and wagon rides as well as food, music and lots of vendors.
Admission is free. A $6 per child wristband is required for unlimited kids’ activities.
