A resident of Billie Ellis Lane reported someone tried to remove a license plate from his or her car, leaving the license plate bent and the car scratched sometime between 4 p.m. on Aug. 28 and 11: 44 a.m. on Aug. 30. Police said no other similar incidents were reported.
Marvin Jacobsen, 70, of Skillman, was in an accident on Great Road on Aug. 30 at 2:03 p.m. after falling asleep at the wheel and crashing into a tree, according to police. Mr. Jacobsen received a summons for careless driving.
Daricza Cabrera, 28, of Trenton, and Christopher Kane, 24, of Yardley, Pa., were in an accident on Great Road on Aug. 30 at 3:33 p.m. Ms. Cabrera received a summons for careless driving.
Janet Pumo, 49, of Hopewell, and Jonathan West, 28, of Bensalem, Pa., were in an accident on Great Road near Mountain Avenue on Aug. 31 at 9:20 a.m. Mr. West received a summons for careless driving and his passenger Michael White, 34, of Philadelphia, was charged with having an outstanding traffic warrant out of Wildwood in the amount of $599.
Stefan Lerner, 74, of Princeton, and Mariano Buttitta, 44, of Monmouth Junction, were in an accident in a parking lot on Harrison Street on Aug. 31 at 2:13 p.m. Mr. Lerner received a summons for careless driving.
A victim reported cash was stolen from his unlocked car on Marion Road East sometime during the morning on Aug. 31.
A victim reported that his iPhone was stolen while it was unattended at his place of business on Witherspoon Street sometime between 5:40 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. on Aug. 31. The value of the phone is approximately $500.
Janet Stefandl, 21, of Princeton, was in an accident on Cherry Valley Road at Great Road when her car went out of control while negotiating curves in the area on Sept. 3 at 3:08 p.m., according to police. No summonses were issued and the incident remains under investigation.
Clara Monterroso-Degonz, 34, of Trenton, and Carol Wierbiel, 69, of Hightstown, were in an accident on State Road near Mountain Avenue on Sept. 4 at 12:49 p.m. No summonses were issued at the scene pending the outcome of the continuing investigation.
A business on Great Road reported one of its iPads was stolen sometime between 4 p.m. on Sept. 4 and 7:30 a.m. on Sept. 5. The iPad was valued at approximately $400. Police said no forced entry was noted.
Oksana Witkin, 40, of Princeton, and Jessica Wei, 52, of West Windsor, were in an accident in the Princeton Shopping Center parking lot on Sept. 5 at 11:06 a.m. Police said the accident is still under investigation.

Rhea Wagh, 19, of Princeton, was charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams on Washington Road on Sept. 2 at 10:34 p.m.
Altaf Shaikh, 31, of Somerset, was charged with driving while intoxicated on Nassau Street on Sept. 1 at 2:57 a.m.
Cirilo Santos, 39, of New Brunswick, was charged with shoplifting at the Nassau Liquor Grape and Grain on Nassau Street on Sept. 3 at 1:55 p.m. after allegedly trying to hide a bottle of alcohol in his pants. Following the arrest, police also charged him with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and contempt of court after finding he had cocaine and an active warrant out of Middlesex County for failing to pay child support. Mr. Santos was sent to the Mercer County Detention Center on $10,000 bail.

Plainsboro
A resident of Philadelphia reported $1,500 worth of items stolen from her room at the Merwick Rehabilitation Center on Plainsboro Road sometime between Aug. 14 and Aug. 22 while staying at the facility as a patient.
Valery Herrington, 43, of Plainsboro, was charged with obstruction of justice, disorderly conduct and resisting on arrest at Ravens Crest Drive on Sept. 3 at 9:40 p.m. Upon investigating a report of a water leak coming from Ms. Herrington’s second floor apartment, police said at first Ms. Herrington refused to answer her door and closed her blinds and that when she opened the door, she began to scream profanities at the officers and resisted being handcuffed.
A resident of Franklin Drive reported that personal information, including the victim’s name, social security number, address and home telephone number, were used to fraudulently apply and receive two credit cards sometime between Aug. 31 and Sept. 3. Police said $14,490 worth of purchases were made on the credit cards at Mohegan Sun Casino.
Marco A. Garcia Carrasco, 30, of Trenton, was charged with driving while intoxicated on Route 1 on Sept. 1 at 12:40 a.m. He also received summonses for open alcohol container in a motor vehicle, reckless driving, speeding, failure to maintain a lane and obstructed view.
The Meadows at Middlesex reported holes had been shot in the plastic covers of the lights in two light poles by what appeared to be a BB gun sometime between 6 a.m. on Sept. 3 and 6 a.m. on Sept. 4. Police said the cost of repairs and how many people were involved remain unknown at this time.
