A 69-year-old Woods Road man was medivaced Sunday after falling about 20 feet from a ladder while trimming branches from a tree on his property just before noon, police said.
The man, whom police did not identify by name, was flown by State Police’s NorthStar medical helicopter to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick. Police said he had a back and leg injury, but the injuries did not appear to be life threatening.
Also responding were Hillsborough EMS Unit 38, Fire Unit 79 and the Somerset Medical Center’s intensive-care unit 682, police reported.
