Short filmmakers are invited to meet representatives of media company Kan Kan Film Ventures at the 2012 NJ Independent South Asian Cine Fest taking place from October 5-7 at the Big Cinemas 8 in Edison, NJ.
Kan Kan Film Ventures (www.kan-kan-ventures.com), a digital company, is looking for films, documentaries, and music videos from independent and motivated short film and documentary makers in North America.
KAN KAN Film Ventures aspires to be the world’s leading mobile video content provider (short-form) – distributing non-feature video content namely short films and webisodes, documentaries, music videos and games. They aim to put together the largest, most diverse collection of “short-form” entertainment content in the next three to five years. They will entertain its audiences on the go and on-demand; via tablets, smart phones and other hand held devices.
Starting this year, Kan Kan Film Ventures and the New Jersey Independent South Asian Cine Fest (NJISACF) will collaborate to bring some of the most creative short film works to the fore.
NJISACF promotes and recognizes the talents of the new, the established, the underrepresented, the best and the brightest independent South Asian filmmakers from across the globe.
