The senior breakfast and Convocation will be held today in the high school cafeterias and gymnasium. Seniors and freshman must arrive by 7:30 a.m. that morning. Seniors will be served breakfast in the cafeterias and will be receiving the traditional SBHS senior shirts.
According to Mrs. Marcella and Mr. Witkowski the seniors also have specific privileges such as senior parking, early release, and late arrival. Mr. Witkowski said that seniors are also granted the ability to participate in PEER Leadership as well as HiTops.
Peer is a leadership program that takes the place of senior physical education. Seniors are paired into groups of two and are given a group of freshman to mentor throughout the school year.
HiTops is also a leadership program for seniors that takes the place of their physical education class. Seniors educate their peers in the school through workshops on sexual education.
Senior Society is also offered to seniors at the end of the school year during the last quarter.
According to Mrs. Marcella, eligible seniors are able to be released from their typical school day at the high school and volunteer at a school or business in the South Brunswick community.

”It is so fun to drive to school,” Hannah said.
Senior Brandan Williams said that the benefit about driving to school is that seniors can arrive at school whenever they please and not have to wait for the bus in the morning.
