LAWRENCE: Police blotter

   An unknown shoplifter left the Victoria’s Secret store at the Quaker Bridge Mall with 13 bottles of perfume, valued at $738, between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. Sept. 13. A store manager discovered the thefts when she noticed some bottles were missing from shelves.
   Two Trenton boys, ages 12 and 13, were charged with shoplifting an assortment of clothing worth $155 from J.C. Penney at the Quaker Bridge Mall at 7:29 p.m. Sept. 14.
   An Avalon Way resident reported the theft of a Citizens Eco-watch, valued at $650, from his apartment between 6:20 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Sept. 12. There were no signs of forced entry, but a crew of workmen had been inside the apartment installing cable wires.
   Shirley Barbedo, 43, of Newark, was charged with engaging in prostitution and promoting prostitution at 1:53 p.m. Sept. 11 at the Howard Johnson Motor Lodge on Brunswick Pike when she allegedly offered sex in exchange for money to an undercover police officer who had responded to an on-line advertisement.
   A 1996 Mack dump truck and a trailer, valued at $50,000 and $21,000 respectively, were reported stolen from a construction site off Brunswick Pike near the Toys ‘R Us store between 3:30 p.m. Sept. 7 and 7 a.m. Sept. 10. They were recovered around 10 a.m. in Franklin Township, where they had been abandoned.
   Laszlo Pokorny, 36, of North Brunswick, was charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving and failure to stay within the traffic lane on Brunswick Pike at 10:28 p.m. Sept. 11.
