Mrs. Schubert, 89, of Jackson, died Sept. 3, 2012, at Bella Terra assisted living, Jackson. She was born in New York City and resided in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn, N.Y., until 2005. Prior to retiring, Mrs. Schubert was employed as an administrative assistant for Seamen’s Bank, New York City. She was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, LeRoy Schubert, in 2005. Surviving are a daughter, Mary Lee Artache and her husband, Julio, of Freehold; a son, Paul Schubert, and his wife, JoAnne, of Saugerties, N.Y.; two sisters, Ann Rao of Orlando, Fla., and Louise Matarresse of New Paltz, N.Y.; five grandchildren and a greatgrandson. A funeral service was held at the Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, followed by entombment at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, Woodbridge. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
