Sept. 7 at 9:30 a.m., Detective Michael Miloszar went to Bridge Street on a report of a theft of a municipal trash can.
Acting Public Works Director Lester Myers said someone had taken a trash can belonging to the city. It was taken from Bridge Street and is valued at $375. It is black and coated in rubber.
Sept. 10 at 2:40 p.m., Patrolman Kenneth Housman took a report of a theft at Greene & Greene Gallery at 32 Bridge St.
Manager Claire Tiffany reported the theft of a wooden sculpture on a pedestal that was taken from the showroom floor. The sculpture is valued at $2,500. It is owned by Karl Juelch, of Asbury, New Jersey.
Saturday at 2:43 a.m., Susan M. Wirges, 50, of Lambertville, was charged with drunken driving.
Sgt. Robert Brown stopped Ms. Wirges on Swan Street for failure to keep right, police said.
She also was charged with failure to keep right, failure to exhibit her driver’s license and vehicle registration and careless driving.
She was released without bail.
Saturday at 2:10 p.m., Nanette A. Rivera, 54, of York Street, Lambertville, reported the theft of two radar detectors, one GPS unit and a pair of sunglasses from her car, which was parked in her driveway.
Patrolman Kenneth Housman took the report.
Saturday at 2:30 p.m., Albert J. Zakes, 27, of New Hope, reported a theft from his unlocked vehicle parked on Clinton Street.
He told Sgt. Michael O’Rourke that an Apple Power book, tan canvas shoulder bag and a check were stolen. The value of the items was reported to be $1,100.
Sunday at 12:32 a.m., Patrolman Anthony Memolo stopped Alexandra J. White on Route 29 for speeding, police said.
Ms. White had a warrant from Galloway Township for $89.
Ms. White was charged with speeding, having an expired driver’s license and driving with a suspended driver’s license. She posted bail and was released.
Sunday at 2:08 a.m., Sgt. Brown stopped Andrezj Popinski, 45, of Lawrenceville, on Route 179 for failure to stop at a red light.
Mr. Popinski was charged with drunken driving, failure to stop at a red light, failure to keep right and careless driving and was released without bail.
West Amwell
Sept. 8 at 10:53 p.m., Vincent Marino Jr., 53, of Ringoes, was charged with drunken driving after being stopped on Route 31 for failure to stay within the lane of travel.
Patrolman Edward Skillman also charged him with careless driving and failure to keep right. Mr. Marino was released to a friend.
Sept. 9 at 11:02 p.m., a Pittstown man was charged with possession of marijuana after being stopped on Route 179 for failure to use a turn signal, police said.
Frank Travellin was charged by Patrolman Skillman for having under 50 grams of marijuana as well as possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to use a turn signal. He was released without bail.
