Pregnant women or breast feeding mothers must bring a note from their physician in order to receive the flu vaccine. Seasonal flu vaccine: $20 cash, check (made payable to SPUH) or Medicare B. You must bring your Medicare card with you. If you are in an HMO, you should receive your immunizations at your HMO facility or you will be charged $20.

The South Brunswick Senior Center in the Municipal Complex, Route 522, in collaboration with VSA New Jersey offer a 10-week workshop at 1:45 p.m. where seniors will engage in drama warm-ups, improvisation, and scene study. This fun, informal and process-oriented program will also include movement and partner and group experiences. Register in person with payment by Sept. 10. The session fee is $25. All South Brunswick seniors 55+ are invited to the Senior Center’s monthly birthday luncheon at 11 a.m. at the Municipal Complex, Route 522. If your birthday is in the month of September please call the office by Sept. 18 to sign up. A special menu will be served followed by birthday cake. At 12:30 p.m. the South Brunswick Senior Center at the Municipal Complex, Route 522, will present a lecture Recycling in South Brunswick by Nancy Pacquette from the township Recycling Department. There will be a Show and Tell on which items that can and cannot be recycled. Many new items were added and recycling has changed to single stream.
