PRINCETON:Bond referendum easily passes

By Philip Sean Curran
Princeton – Voters overwhelmingly approved a $10.98 million school bond referendum by more than a 2-1 ratio Monday.
The proposal passed with 1,238 yes votes and 571 no votes, according to unofficial results from the township clerk’s office.
Superintendent of Schools Judith Wilson said Monday that she was "delighted" with the outcome.
The bond referendum calls for a new track and turf field replacement at Princeton High School which, among other projects, will increase taxes at the average assessed home by less than $150 annually on a 10-year-bond, the district has said.
