Carlyle Frank, 52, of Robbinsville, was charged with DWI and other offenses after a motor vehicle stop at 12:31 a.m., Sept. 23, police said.
Patrolman Scott Kivet stopped Mr. Frank’s vehicle for speeding and failing to maintain its lane on Route 130 South, police said.
The officer detected evidence Mr. Frank was intoxicated and asked him to perform field sobriety tests, which he failed, police said.
Mr. Frank was additionally charged with careless driving, reckless driving, failure to maintain lane and speeding, police said. He was processed and released pending a future court date.
Charles Holliday, 62, of Robbinsville, was charged with DWI after a motor vehicle crash at 7:06 p.m., Sept. 18 on Route 526 near Lake Drive, police said.
Patrolman William Swanhart responded to the accident, spoke with the drivers involved and detected evidence that Mr. Holliday was intoxicated, police said.
Mr. Holliday was also charged with reckless driving, careless driving and being an unlicensed driver, police said. He was transported to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in Hamilton for treatment of minor injuries and released.
Police said the cause of the accident is still under investigation and there were no other injuries reported.
Kyle Korley, 23, of East Brunswick, was charged with DWI and other offenses after nearly striking a marked police car at 2:02 a.m., Sept. 15 on Route 130 North, where two officers were conducting a motor vehicle stop, police said.
Detective Peter Galazka then pulled Mr. Korley’s car over and detected evidence the driver was intoxicated, police said. He was asked to step outside his vehicle and perform field sobriety tests, which he failed, police said.
Mr. Korley was additionally charged with careless driving, reckless diving and failure to move over for an emergency vehicle, police said.
He was processed and released pending a court date.
Allentown Police had no incidents to report. The Plumsted Police Department did not return messages before press time.
