JMHS band parents raising funds

JACKSON — The Jackson Memorial Band Parents currently have a number of fundraising opportunities, all benefiting the Jackson Memorial Band Parents Travel Fund.

The members of the Jackson Memorial High School Marching Band are preparing to travel to California to march and perform in the world famous Tournament of Roses Parade on Jan. 1.

The first fundraising opportunity is a raffle for three Toshiba Portege Z830 laptop computers donated by the Microsoft store in Freehold Township.

The drawing dates are Oct. 6 at Munley Field, Jackson Memorial High School; Nov. 2 at Munley Field; and Dec. 11 at the Jackson Memorial High School Fine Arts Center.

Raffle tickets are $5 each, three for $10, or eight for $20. For tickets, contact Chris O’Donnell at [email protected].

All proceeds will benefit the Jackson Memorial Band Parents Travel Fund. No substitution of the offered prizes will be made.

The next fundraising opportunity is a mega 50/50 raffle. The donation is $100. The winner will receive 50 percent of the amount received for all tickets, up to a maximum of $10,000. Ticket quantity is limited. All proceeds will benefit the Jackson Memorial Band Parents Travel Fund.
