Ms. Simonow, 87, of Howell, died Sept. 9, 2012. She was born in Crimea, Russia, and had lived in Europe and Brooklyn, N.Y., before moving to Howell in 1958. Prior to retiring, she was employed as a coil treater at Torwico Electronics, Lakewood. Ms. Simonow was a member of St. Alexander Nevsky Russian Orthodox Church, Howell. She was predeceased by her former husband, George Simonow, in 2004. Surviving are a son, Boris Simonow, and his, wife, Donna, of Howell; and five grandchildren. A funeral service was held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township, followed by interment in St. Vladimir’s Russian Orthodox Cemetery, Jackson.
