AmeriHealth New Jersey employees lent a helping hand in Princeton recently. Volunteers participated in the Nursery School at YWCA Princeton’s annual Fall Festival. They worked with young students at several art and craft stations to mark the start of fall and apple season.
They also assisted the YWCA’s Breast Cancer Resource Center prepping wigs in their Wig & Prosthesis Boutique as well and preparing for the upcoming “In the PINK” Fashion Show Benefit on October 12th. Diane Hasili, YWCA Princeton’s spokesperson says, “We are so appreciative of AmeriHealth and the volunteers who rolled up their sleeves literally.” Volunteers dug in to create a new patio outside of its’ Bramwell House facility so that students and members will have an inviting, relaxing spot to engage and socialize after classes.
“At AmeriHealth NJ, service to our communities defines a large part of who we are as a company,” said Judith L. Roman, president and CEO of AmeriHealth NJ. “We were proud to volunteer at the YWCA Princeton and commend the work the organization does to empower women to reach their fullest potential.”
