Lambertville City police reported:
— Qaysaun Johnson, 23, of Trenton, was arrested for drug possession as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Sept. 23. Detective Michael Miloszar stopped Mr. Johnson, at 3:15 a.m. on Route 29 after he was seen driving erratically. Mr. Johnson was allegedly found to be in possession of suspected marijuana and found to have a warrant out for his arrest for failure to appear on traffic charges in Trenton. He was charged with possession of CDS (under 50 grams), open container of alcohol in a vehicle, being an unlicensed driver and failure to maintain lane. He was later released on $243 bail with pending court dates.
— Richard Salls, 57, of Cranford, was arrested for DUI on Sept. 29. Officer Michael Gramlich stopped Ms. Salls on Route 29 at 10 p.m. for speeding, 63 mph in a 40-mph zone. Mr. Salls was determined to be driving under the influence of alcohol and subsequently was arrested. He was charged with DUI, speeding and reckless driving. He was later released with a pending court date.
— Nickolas Stuart, 27, of Easton, Pennsylvania, was arrested on an outstanding warrant subsequent to a motor vehicle stop on Sept. 24. Officer Gramlich stopped Mr. Stuart on Route 179 at 3:40 p.m. for speeding. He was found to have an outstanding warrant for failure to appear on traffic charges in Lopatcong Township. Mr. Stuart posted bail and was released.
— Everardo Santiago, 23, of Lambertville, was arrested for DUI on Sept. 30. Officer Gramlich stopped Mr. Santiago at 2:35 a.m. after he was seen speeding on North Main Street, 43 mph in a 25-mph zone. Mr. Santiago was determined to be under the influence of alcohol and also found to have a warrant issued for his arrest. The warrant was issued by Lambertville for failure to appear on traffic charges.
Mr. Santiago was charged with DUI, speeding, reckless driving, being an unlicensed driver, and for having suspended driving privileges. He was later released on $200 bail and with a pending court date.
Suspects are considered innocent unless proven guilty by a court of law.
