HILLSBOROUGH: Circus Place celebrates more space and classes

The Circus Place is doubling its size with a grand reopening at a larger location at 6 Jill Court in the Hillsborough Business Center on Sunday, Oct. 14, from noon to 4 p.m. There will be a sampling of food, performance and demonstrations. Hillsborough Mayor Carl Suraci will perform the ribbon-cutting ceremony at 2.
The school has added more classes, aerial equipment and a new tumbling area. Students experience the thrill of learning juggling, acrobatics, unicycle riding, stilting, static trapeze and aerial silks.
Once familiar with basic skills, students can join a performance troupe with the goal of performing for family, friends and in community events.
Visitors will have chance to tour the space and try out aerial equipment, take a walk on the tightwire, juggle and spin some plates.
The directors and instructors will answer questions about classes and teach the skills.
