ROBBINSVILLE
Linda Nixon, 56, of Highstown, was charged with driving while intoxicated and other offenses after a motor vehicle stop at 12:46 a.m., Oct. 6, police said.
Patrolman Scott Kivet stopped her vehicle on Route 33 for failing to move over for another patrol car that was conducting a traffic stop. The officer detected evidence she was intoxicated and asked her to perform field sobriety tests, which she failed, police said.
Ms. Nixon was additionally charged with refusal to submit to a breath test, reckless driving, careless driving, unsafe passing and following another vehicle too closely, police said. She was processed and released with a pending court date.
Kevin Young, 48, of Trenton, was charged with possession of marijuana and other offenses at 1:17 a.m., Oct. 3, police said.
Patrolman Shawn Bruton stopped the vehicle for failing to maintain its lane on Route 33, police said. During the traffic stop, it was determined Mr. Young had a warrant for his arrest out of Bucks County and he was placed under arrest and searched. Marijuana and drug paraphernalia were discovered, police said.
Mr. Young was additionally charged with driving with a suspended license, having a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia, hindering apprehension (for initially giving police a false name), and obstructing justice. He was processed and released to the county jail in connection with the outstanding warrant, police said.
Arthur Cimino Jr., 28, of South Brunswick, was charged with possession of heroin and other offenses after a motor vehicle stop at 2 p.m., Oct. 1 on Interstate 195 East, police said.
Patrolman Scott Kivet pulled the vehicle over for failing to maintain its lane near Exit 7. The officer detected that narcotics might be present and a subsequent search discovered a small amount of heroin, police said.
Mr. Cimino was additionally charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, failure to maintain lane, driving while suspended, driving without insurance and failure to inspect a vehicle, police said. He was processed and released with a pending court date.
