Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Financial Advisor Wade Martin Receives Land Trust Alliance’s National Conservation Service Award

Lawrenceville, NJ, October 12, 2012 – Morgan Stanley Wealth Management today announced that Wade Martin, a Financial Advisor in the Firm’s Lawrenceville, NJ office, has been awarded this year’s Land Trust Alliance’s National Conservation Service Award for making a significant contribution to the advancement of land conservation.
Mr. Martin, Senior Vice President, Financial Advisor of the Martin-Rizzo Group, was presented with the award at Rally: The National Land Conservation Conference in Salt Lake City Utah, on September 30, 2012.  Martin who is based in Lawrenceville, New Jersey, has been helping provide land preservation guidance to clients for more than two decades. The Garden State is home to large numbers of historic farms and land preservation is an important investment in the economy and farming heritage of the state, as well as the overall quality of life for its residents.
“This is well-deserved recognition for the diligence and commitment Wade brings to his work with clients, and we congratulate him for receiving this honor,” said Robert Beylickjian, Branch Manager, Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, Lawrenceville, NJ.
Martin has most recently been working with the Land Trust Alliance and its Corporate Council, of which Morgan Stanley Wealth Management is a founding member, on helping corporations be great partners in preserving land. Additionally, Mr. Martin is also involved in the Montgomery Township Education Foundation (MTEF), which supports expenses for children in town that the school budget does not cover. He also works extensively with the disabled community, helping people with conditions such as cerebral palsy, autism and other physical handicaps to live their lives to the fullest.
"When you are looking at your client’s assets and portfolio, is not just about their stocks and bonds — it’s about their legacy and what they live on, what they want to pass to the next generation, and it’s about making their lives better, both financially and environmentally," said Martin.
About The Land Trust Alliance
The Alliance is a national conservation organization that works in three ways to save the places people love.  First, we increase the pace of conservation, so more land and natural resources get protected.  Second, we enhance the quality of conservation, so the most important lands get protected using the best practices in the business. And third, we ensure the permanence of conservation by creating the laws and resources needed to defend protected land over time. The Land Trust Alliance is based in Washington, D.C., and has several regional offices.  This year marks the 30th Anniversary of the Alliance. Visit www.landtrustalliance.org.
