A three-car accident at the intersection of North Harrison Street and Franklin Avenue was triggered when a motorist allegedly ran a red light Tuesday morning, authorities said.
Police said John Darley, 74, was travelling south on North Harrison in a 1997 Audi around 9:40 a.m. when he allegedly ran the light and hit a 2011 Kia travelling west on Franklin. The Kia, “knocked onto its left side,” hit another vehicle going east on Franklin, police said.
No one was injured, police said. Mr. Darley, a Princeton resident, was cited for disregarding a traffic signal, police said.
