   CHAPTER B
Our fall luncheon is now behind us.
It certainly was a very busy day. We started the time of our luncheon a little earlier than usual and opened with the introduction of Congressman Leonard Lance, who spoke a little about himself and mentioned some redistricting of our area.
Before our delicious luncheon was served, we honored some members who were celebrating important birthdays. There were three in September: Estelle Julian and Frank Jacus were 80 and Betty Kiernan 90. All three received letters from the President and Mrs. Obama, Governor Christie and our mayor, Carl Suraci.
Our birthday girl for October is Anne Trapani, who has reached the young age of 80. She also received letters of congratulations.
All received a red rose from Chapter B.
Many thanks to our fall luncheon committee, who, with its hard work and efforts made it a wonderful success.
Immediately following our meeting, flu shots were made available to anyone interested. Hopefully you all have gotten your flu shot and are ready for our busy year ahead.
Our next monthly meeting will be held at the Municipal Building on Nov. 8.
