PRINCETON — Borough Councilwoman and Planning Board member Jenny Crumiller said Thursday that she would recuse herself from the board’s hearing tonight on Princeton University’s $300 million arts and transit project.
Ms. Crumiller said she was advised by Planning Board attorney Allen D. Porter not to participate, given her advocacy for saving the Dinky. The university wants to move the terminus of the Dinky line some 460 feet south as a part of this project. Ms. Crumiller has sought to protect the Dinky.
Ms. Crumiller said she plans to attend the meeting, make a statement and step down from dais. She said intends to remain to watch the proceeding.
