HIGHTSTOWN: Historic railroad line to be celebrated

   HIGHTSTOWN — Full steam ahead!
   The 180th anniversary of the Camden & Amboy Railroad’s Bordentown to Hightstown connection will be celebrated from 10 am. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, at Hightstown High School, 25 Leshin Lane.
   The event includes a Thomas the Tank engine center and sale, the original sleeper stone site, historical photos and artifacts displays.
   Admission to the train show only is $8 for adults and $10 per family. Children under 12 are admitted for free. Admission to the show and lectures is $20 per person at the door.
   Sponsors include the Hightstown-East Windsor Historical Society and the Camden & Amboy Railroad Historical Group.
   Activities are scheduled to feature a concert with Drew School students, creative art and a sing-along.
