LAMBERTVILLE: Storm may impact Halloween Parade

LAMBERTVILLE — The Lambertville Halloween Parade, scheduled for Oct. 28, plans to step off from York Street at 3 p.m. It may be impacted by the forecasted storm heading up the East Coast.
If the precipitation that is expected Sunday afternoon happens, it would be necessary to move the “parade” and judging into the Lambertville Public School, located at 200 N. Main St. If more troubling weather is projected in the hours ahead, it may be necessary to reschedule or completely cancel the event.
A final decision will be made by the Parade Committee on Saturday afternoon using the best information available at the time.
If a change is needed, it will be communicated in the following ways: An email will be sent to those who have registered using the online system at: www.halloween08530.com.
A notice will be posted on the home page of the below sites: www.lambertvillenj.org and www.halloween08530.com
The message at Lambertville City Hall, on 609-397-0110, will be updated with the latest.
Remember the online registration system for the parade is available at www.halloween08530.com. Simply click the “Register Now” button and fill in each item. Review your entry, and be sure to finish your registration by selecting “Confirm.”
Please note the number your entry has been assigned so that when you arrive at Mary Sheridan Park on the day of the parade (or at the Lambertville Public School if a change is made), you can use the Express Registration line to pick up your number to wear in the parade!
Online registration will end on Saturday at 5 p.m. On-site registration will be available at Mary Sheridan Park, George and York streets, OR the Lambertville Public School, if moved, on Sunday from 2-2:45 p.m.
