LAMBERTVILLE: City provides charging stations

The City of Lambertville, on its website www.lambertvillenj.org, has provided the following information in the wake of Hurricane Sandy:
HURRICANE SANDY: The City of Lambertville’s Office of Emergency Management continues to press JCP&L for information on power restoration. We will also post updates here, on the City’s website.
CITY OF LAMBERTVILLE BUSINESS:
CHARGING STATIONS: In the event of loss of power, the following locations may be visited to charge your cell phones, recharge batteries, and to power breathing equipment:
· City Hall located at 18 York Street,
· Hibernia Apartments located at 24 South Main Street, and
· Lambertville-New Hope Ambulance & Rescue Squad located on Alexander Avenue.
GARBAGE & RECYCLING scheduled for Thursday and Friday is in the process of being considered.
TAX ASSESSOR’S OFFICE: will be closed this evening, Wednesday, October 31.
OFFICE OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT will stay open daily from 8 AM through 11 PM. They will be located in the Clerk’s Office located at 18 York Street, phone number 609-397-0110.
SOUTH HUNTERDON REGIONAL HIGH SCHOOL: will be CLOSED for the rest of the week.
TRICK OR TREATING has been rescheduled to Monday, Nov. 5 beginning at 6 p.m. and ending at 8 p.m. As a reminder, the city will close North Union Street from York to Buttonwood Streets.
