Mary Thurling

Mrs. Thurling, 88, of Jackson, formerly of Duryea, Pa., and Howell, died Oct. 22, 2012, at Van Dyke Hospice and Palliative Care Center at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Prior to retiring, she was employed as a bookkeeper at DCH Freehold Nissan for more than 40 years. Before that, she worked for RCA in Newark. She was predeceased by her husband, Norman Thurling, in 1976. Surviving are a son, Michael Thurling of Philadelphia, Pa.; and a daughter and son-in-law, Patty and Keith McGurrin of Hunt Valley, Md. A funeral liturgy was held at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, Jackson, followed by interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Toms River. Arrangements were by the George S.
