Otto A. “Hoppy” Megill

Mr. Megill, 89, of Delta, Ohio, died Oct. 8, 2012, at Fulton Manor, Wauseon, Ohio. He was born and raised in Howell, and had lived in Florida before moving to Ohio. Mr. Megill was a past master of the Farmingdale-Howell Grange and a U.S Army veteran, serving during World War II. Prior to retiring, he was an asphalt plant operator for Stavola Construction, Eatontown. Surviving are three sons, William Allan Megill of Neptune City, Thomas Richard Megill of Manahawkin, and Robert Scott Megill of Pinellas Park, Fla.; a daughter, Dale Marie Thomas of Delta, Ohio; 14 grandchildren and nine greatgrandchildren. A funeral service was held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township, followed by interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Farmingdale.
