LAMBERTVILLE: The latest on Sandy aftermath

JCP&L reported today that it could be 5 to 6 days, before power is restored. You can monitor our situation by visiting the City’s website at www.lambertvillenj.org or by calling City Hall at 609-397-0110.

Showers:

UNION FIRE HOUSE: You can take a shower at the Union Fire Company located at 230 North Union Street 8 AM to 8 PM. Please bring your towel and toiletries.

SOUTH HUNTERDON REGIONAL HIGH SCHOOL: Showers are available in the men’s locker room at South Hunterdon Regional High School. This is a “group” setting shower and will be available to the public on a scheduled basis devoting time for men and woman. The school will be open from 12 noon until 8 pm, Friday, Saturday and Sunday (November 2 through the 4th). The facility is heated. Women can shower from 12 noon to 4 pm and Men can shower from 4 pm to 8 pm.

Shelters: Hunterdon County has opened a shelter at the Hunterdon County Complex, building 1, Route 12 in Flemington. They are heated, have showers, and are open to all.

Elections: The County Clerk is accepting ballots daily from 8:30 AM to 7 PM this evening, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM on Friday, and they will be open this weekend. For a full schedule of their hours, please come to City Hall. The City will be opening their polling stations at the Columbia Fire House and the YMAC from 6 AM to 8 PM on Tuesday, November 6. If power is not restored, we will use generators.

Trick or Treating will take place on Monday, November 5 ONLY IF POWER HAS BEEN RESTORED.
