PRINCETON: NJ Transit restores ‘special schedule’ NEC service

By Philip Sean Curran, Staff Writer
PRINCETON – Commuters got welcome news as train service is backing run along New Jersey Transit’s Northeast Corridor line.
NJ Transit said on its website that service is operating on a "special schedule."
The Dinky line that connects Princeton Junction with Princeton University, however, remains  down, the Ivy League school reports.
The school said it is providing its free bus service, TigerTransit, to connect Princeton Junction and the Dinky station, according to the University’s website.
According to the University, the service was to start meeting trains at 10:25 a.m. "and will run continuously until the last scheduled train at 2:39 a.m. Saturday."
The shuttle service will be in effect until Dinky Service is restored, the University said.
