   — Mapleton Road is open.
   — John White Road – from Cranbury Neck Road to township border, is closed due to a downed power line.
   No change in polling places
   The regular polling places are up and running. There are no changes in voting locations. Alternate voting options

   Small business disaster loans

   Loss of power
   Township surveys show that several homes remain without power. If you are a Plainsboro resident without power please contact the Plainsboro Police at 609-799-2333.
   Food and clothing drive
   The Plainsboro Fire Company and Plainsboro Fire District No. 1 will hold a food and clothing drive to benefit first responders and civilians in the metropolitan area who have lost their homes and possessions in the wake of Hurricane Sandy.    Township program schedules
   Rabies Clinic, scheduled for Saturday, November 3rd has been rescheduled to Saturday, November 17th. Plainsboro Stream Clean Up, scheduled for Saturday, November 3rd has been re-scheduled to Saturday, November 10th
   Brush collection
   PlainsboroTownship will provide a special brush collection staring Tuesday. The schedule is as follows: Section 1: November 5th to November 23rd
   Beechtree; Brentwood Lane; Cypress Court; George Davison Road; Mapleton Road; Perrine Road; Princeton Collection; Princeton Crossing; Princeton Manor; Serina Drive; Shallowbrook; Woodland Drive
   Section 2: November 26th to December 17th
   Brookside Court; Cooks Corner; Cranbury Neck Road; Dey Road; Eiker Road; Gentry; Grovers Mill Estates; Grovers Mill Road; Heritage Way; Mayfarth Terrace; Millstone Court; Nostrand Road; Okeson Street; Petty Road; Plainsboro Road; Pollack Court; Ponds End; Scotts Corner Road; Stults Drive; Sullivan Street; Village Area; Walker Gordon Estates
   Residents not wishing to wait for their scheduled collection date can bring their brush to the conservation center during normal operating hours. Public Works crews will make more than one pass through each section. All leaf collection has been suspended until the completion of brush pickup.
