Retro Fitness has announced a licensing agreement with the at-home fitness leaders Beachbody to administer live, ongoing P90X fitness classes.
Retro Fitness will begin rolling out P90X with more than 30 specialized trainers across its system this November, providing more than 100,000 Retro Fitness members in 85-plus gyms, access to live, daily P90X classes.
P90X is a comprehensive 90-day program that consists of 12 intense workouts, including resistance training, body-weight training, plyometrics, abdominal work, martial arts, stretching and yoga.

The Chelsea at Manalapan assisted living residence recently held a gift basket auction that raised $770 for Autism Speaks, an advocacy organization that sponsors autism research and conducts awareness and outreach activities aimed at families, governments and the public.
Manalapan Mayor Susan Cohen attended, as did many Chelsea residents, family members and people from the community. Added to its previous fundraisers, the Chelsea at Manalapan has raised a total of $1,181 for Autism Speaks.
Chelsea Senior Living has embarked on a company-wide fundraising effort for Autism Speaks as it prepares to open a new residence in Warren for adults with autism, developmental disabilities, and traumatic brain injuries.
Turning Point restaurants in Brick Township, Little Silver, Holmdel, Long Branch, Manalapan, Hoboken and Westfield are teaming up with the Kortney Rose Foundation to raise money for pediatric brain tumor research and awareness. The Kortney Rose Foundation’s (KRF) third annual Great Food for a Great Cause fundraiser will take place at Turning Point restaurants from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 10- 11. Diners making a donation to KRF during those hours will receive gift cards for free entrees on their next visit to a Turning Point. Jersey Central Power & Light has completed upgrades on circuits serving the municipalities of Colts Neck, Freehold Borough, Freehold Township and Marlboro. JCP&L replaced wire, installed additional lightning arrestors and fuses and devices that separate wires and protect lines from overloading to limit the frequency and duration of power outages. The upgrades are a part of JCP&L’s $200 million investment in 2012 to improve service reliability and help meet increasing demand for electricity. Since 2001, JCP&L has invested more than $1.6 billion in capital improvements to its distribution network.
