To the editor:
About two years ago I submitted an article that was published in your paper. I stated that I moved out of Manville in 1988. While working for the borough street department during the summers, I had the task of helping flood victims from Hurricane Doria.
I am saddened by the fact that in a few days from this email, the people of Manville, especially the Lost Valley section, will be under water again. I remember the Army Corps of Engineers proposing dredging the Millstone River. After 24 years of this problem, nothing of any value has been done.
My heart goes out to the people of Manville.
