Church offers food, clothing to people affected by storm

WEST LONG BRANCH — Reformation Lutheran Church, located at 992 Broadway in West Long Branch, is offering  water, boxed emergency rations, snacks and clothes to those in need who have been affected by superstorm Sandy. Help will be available Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The church food pantry will be open and is accepting new clients on Tuesday evenings 7-9 p.m. and Saturday mornings 8:30 to 10 a.m.

The clothes closet will also be open this Saturday, Nov. 10, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. to help those affected by the storm.

Reformation Lutheran Church is working with the FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties, Lutheran Social Ministries and Lutheran Disaster Relief.
