CLINTON, N.J. (November 13, 2012) n In its effort to help the community recover from Hurricane Sandy, Unity Bank is offering special loan opportunities for homeowners and small business owners who do not qualify for federal programs designed to provide those in need with financial relief.
Homeowners can learn about Federal Emergency Management Assistance (FEMA) programs at www.fema.gov and businesses can review Small Business Administration (SBA) opportunities at www.sba.gov/disaster.
“Homeowners and small business owners that do not qualify for FEMA or SBA programs, may still need financial assistance in coping with the aftermath of the storm,” said Unity Bank President & CEO James A. The Unity Bank Hurricane Sandy Business Interruption Special offers businesses in the bank’s service area working capital loans. The Hurricane Sandy Home Equity Loan Special offers assistance to homeowners in the bank’s service area. Both programs offer those impacted by the storm special rates.
