4-H craft sale: The Somerset County 4-H Association is hosting the 4th annual vendor & craft sale from 10 a.m.–2 p.m. at the 4-H Center on Milltown Road, Bridgewater. Of the 40 booths, half will be crafters and half vendors. Jewelry, home decor, beauty supplies, clothing accessories, food, toys, holiday items, artwork and woodworking will be on sale.

Symphonic band concert: The 100-member adult Raritan Valley Symphonic Band will present its annual winter concert, “Seasonal Sounds,” at 3 p.m. in auditorium of Bridgewater-Raritan High School, 600 Garretson Road, Bridgewater. Admission is free and open to the public.
Directed by Lawrence Markiewicz, the band will perform “A Hanukkah Festival,” arranged by New Jersey composer Chris M. Bernatos, as well as Leroy Anderson’s “Christmas Festival” and “Sleigh Ride.”

Parent-teacher conferences: Parents will meet with Alexander Batcho Intermediate School teachers to discuss children’s progress in school on Monday, Nov. 19, between 6-8 p.m.; Tuesday, Nov. 20, from 1-3 p.m. and Monday, Nov. 26, from 1-30 p.m.
Students will be dismissed at 11:55 a.m. on those days.

Basket auction: Doors open at 6 p.m., with auction at 7:30, for the Manville Youth Athletic League event at the VFW at 600 Washington Ave. Ski and golf packages, Rutgers football tickets, dinner certificates, comedy club tickets, entertainment venues, and toy, pet and baby baskets. The event helps fund baseball, football and cheerleading programs for ages 5-14 in the borough. Money goes to uniforms and equipment and to help defray expenses. $15 admission.
