ROBBINSVILLE: Police Blotter

   Someone stole a Garmin GPS and a medium tan purse containing three credit cards and a driver’s license from an unlocked car parked at a residence on Woods Edge Road sometime between 5:30 p.m., Oct. 31 and 8:15 a.m., Nov. 1.
   Patrolman Robert Morgano took the report. The case remains under investigation.


   Two boys stole the Mercedes Benz hood ornament from a car parked a 1 Washington Blvd. on Nov. 1, police said.
   A caller reported at 11:52 a.m. that two juveniles walked past the Mercedes Benz, removed the hood ornament and ran away. Patrolman Chris Clifton and other assisting officers searched for the suspects in Town Center but couldn’t find them.
   Two similar thefts were also reported last week. A resident of Hamton Court East reported that sometime between 6 p.m., Nov. 1 and 12:24 p.m., Nov. 2, someone stole the Mercedes Benz hood ornament from her car. Detective William Swanhart investigated.
   A resident of North Commerce Square reported that someone stole the Jaguar hood ornament from her vehicle sometime between 3 p.m., Nov. 4 and 3:30 p.m., Nov. 5, police said. Patrolman Kevin Colgan investigated.


   A construction trailer on Sharon Road was burglarized sometime between 5 p.m., Nov. 2 and 7:25 a.m. on Nov. 5.The thieves cut the lock off the construction container and stole 400 feet of welding cable, police said. Detective Bryan Boccanfuso investigated.


   A 2011 black trailer with the words “Big Tex” written on the side was stolen from the Verizon site on North Main Street in Windsor sometime between 5 p.m., Oct. 26 and 8 a.m., Oct. 30.
   Police said someone entered the rear lot of the property and cut the lock and chain that secured the trailer to a fence. Detective Bryan Boccanfuso took the report.


 The Allentown and Plumsted police departments did not provide police blotter information this week.
