BRUNCH WITH SANTA & HELP FOSTER KIDS
LAWRENCE TWP. – For 49 years, the Children’s Home Society of Trenton has hosted a family-oriented event complete with food, gifts and a real live Santa to welcome the holiday season.
This year’s "Brunch with Santa" will take place Nov. 24 at Notre Dame High School on Route 206 in Lawrence with two sessions designed to raise money for foster children.
And the price is only $5.
There are two sessions, one at 9:30 a.m. and including breakfast, the other at 12 noon and including lunch. Santa will pose for pictures at both, for free if you use your own camera and for $5 is you want to get a framed photo taken by organizers.
Chairwoman Eve Mitchell points out the long list of attractions that includes an original play called "The Bell Family," a free coloring book and crayons, face painting, a children’s bazaar and Santa. Candy, game tickets, raffle tickets, baked goods and poinsettias will be for sale.
Admission tickets are $5 per parent and child and can be purchased at the door or by calling Aline Guzzo at (609) 882-8189.
