The Hopewell Valley Lions are conducting its annual fall fundraiser.
Having served the community since 1951, the Lions come to the people of the Hopewell Valley offering for sale a number of modestly priced quality items in order to continue carrying out its mission of service.
They are:
— Christmas tree ornament featuring Washington Crossing the Delaware, $12.
Ashton Farms Mixed Nuts. 10-ounce gift tin, $12.
Connecticut Gourmet Coffee, four-flavor pack, $6.
Ashers’ Assorted Chocolate Candies, 7.5-ounce box, $10.
Stash Tea Collection Gift Box, $6.
Old-Fashioned Peanut Brittle, 10-ounce box, $5.

The centerpiece of Lions’ efforts has been eyesight preservation and recycling of used eyeglasses, and, locally, the Lions have been a provider of support for post-hospital rehabilitation equipment; Scouts and youth recreation programs; a scholarship to a high school graduate; children and adults with special needs; and more.
