HILLSBOROUGH: Chabad Center for Jewish Life will celebrate its 10th anniversary Dec. 11

Chabad Center for Jewish Life’s 10th anniversary in the southern Somerset County area will be celebrated with an elegant dinner on Tuesday, Dec. 11, at the Imperia Banquet and Conference Center in Somerset.
The event will help fund programs for the Chabad Jewish Center, which doesn’t charge a synagogue membership fee, assess a building fund commitment or sell High Holiday seats, but survives on free-will giving.
Rabbi Shmaya Krinsky, the center’s spiritual leader, said “generous contributions” from individuals and families cover the entire operations budget of religious, educational and social service programs.
The annual dinner is the only formal fundraising event the Chabad Center organizes, and will serve as a way of thanking those who have helped the institution over the past 10 years.
Special tribute will be paid to honorees attorney Daniel N. Epstein, Drs. Dan Hermann and Melissa Selke, and Neil and Dr. Roberta Schorr.
Tickets are $180 per person. An ad journal will be printed. For information or to request a formal invitation, call 908-874-0444, email [email protected] or log on to www.myjewishcenter.org/dinner.
Chabad Center for Jewish Life is a non-profit organization and contributions are tax exempt to the fullest extent of the law.
