Hillsborough Parent Advisory Council has scheduled a series of lectures on how parents can support their special education children’s learning outside of school.
Meetings are from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Hillsborough High School media center.
On Dec. 5, the topic is “How to Support Your Child at Home in Reading and Writing.”
On Jan. 23, the talk will focus on support in math, and, on April 17, in speech, occupational and physical therapies.
There will be “break-out” sessions for age groups pre-school /school age, elementary/ARIS, and middle/high school.
If you plan to attend, you are asked to RSVP to [email protected] one week prior to event.
