Someone stole four rims and tires from an SUV parked on a residential driveway on Route 33 sometime between 10 p.m., Nov. 8 and 8 a.m., Nov. 9.
The victim told Patrolman Kevin Colgan that when he went outside he found his 2010 Toyota Venza SUV resting on two cinderblocks. The four stolen Michelin tires and Toyota rims were valued at $4,400, police said. The theft remains under investigation.
Christopher Owens, 19, of Robbinsville was charged with possession of controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia and other offenses after being pulled over for speeding at 1:49 a.m. on Nov. 16, police said.
Patrolman Scott Kivet saw Mr. Owens traveling 65 mph in a 55-mph zone on Route 130 and pulled his vehicle over on Main Street, police said. Mr. Owens had CDS paraphernalia in plain view, police said.
Mr. Owens was additionally charged with speeding and having an unclear rear license plate, police said.
Allentown and Plumsted police did not provide police blotter information this week.
