All seven Somerset County senior centers are open and serving lunch to clients. Transportation services are available.
The Manville center is in Fire Company No. 1 at 20 South Third Ave. The phone is 908-526-0175. The regular hours are 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
A suggested lunch donation of $1.50 is recommended for individuals age 60 and older. The cost of lunch for those younger than age 60 is $5.35. Call 908-369-8700 before 10:30 a.m. the day before to make a lunch reservation.
Bingo is played every Wednesday at 11:15 a.m. Birthdays are celebrated on the fourth Wednesday of the month.
Creative movement exercises are led every Wednesday, 10:15-11 a.m. A walk and chair exercise class sponsored by the Manville Recreation Department is held every Tuesday and Thursday, 9:30-10:30 a.m.
