New Hope Historical Society has more room for holiday tea

The growing popularity of the New Hope Historical Society’s annual “Holiday Spirited Tea” has packed the rooms of the Parry Mansion in New Hope over the past few years.
”We have had such a tremendous community response to our holiday party.
”Having more than a 175 people jammed into the Parry Mansion often has made it difficult to raise the tea cup,” chided Dee Dee Bowman, newly elected president of the society.
”But now, thanks to our loyal members, Robert Facchina and Susan Lauyer, we will be able to provide ample space for our members and guests,” she added.
They have donated funds to enable the Historical Society to rent a temporary enclosure for the back porch of the Parry Mansion.
Brillman’s has graciously provided a discount for the rental.
Leslie Crilley chairs the “Spirited” Tea event, which will be held on Dec. 2 from 4-7 p.m.
The event is free to members of the Historical Society. There is an admission of $15 for nonmembers.
In addition to the “spirited” tea, wine will be served with a wide variety of treats that will be prepared by New Hope Historical Society members.
Bob Egan will return with his music for the holiday season.
