On Friday November 16th, renowned lecturer and five-time best selling author Caroline Myss hosted her fourth benefit lecture to support the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK).
Myss addressed nearly 400 attendees at the sold-out Bart Luedeke Theatre at Rider University. The lecture raised over $25,000 to support TASK’s meal service that offers hot, nutritious meals to low-income individuals and families.  Myss waived her standard fee, and the cost of the event was underwritten by GluckWalrath LLP, Faria Abedin, and Sacred Journey: a Multifaith Journal.
“The event was a huge success,” stated Dennis Micai, TASK Executive Director. “The money raised will enable us to serve more than 5,000 meals to those in need.”
Caroline Myss is world renowned for her writings and seminars designed to help people improve their well-being by learning to work symbolically with emotional and physical events in their lives. She is a five-time New York Times bestselling author and has appeared multiple times on the Oprah Winfrey Show. Since 2003, Myss and her supporters have helped raised over $275,000 for TASK.
