‘A Christmas Carol’ returns to E.B. stage

Playhouse 22 will present its annual production of Charles Dickens’ classic “A Christmas Carol” Fridays at 8 p.m., Saturdays at 4 and 8 p.m., and Sundays at 3 p.m., Dec. 7-16, at the East Brunswick Community Arts Center, 721 Cranbury Road.

Fred Dennehy of Cranbury returns as Ebenezer Scrooge. The rest of the cast includes Rory Chalcraft of South River as the Ghost of Jacob Marley, Jacqueline Master of North Brunswick as the Spirit of Christmas Past, Christopher Rowland as the Spirit of Christmas Present and Jay Harrison Hirsh as Tiny Tim.

The production is directed by community theatre veteran Tony Adase.
