Victorian Christmas celebration Dec. 7 and 8

The sixth annual Victorian Christmas celebration will be presented by the New Hope Historical Society at the Parry Mansion on Dec. 7 and 8 from 1-4 p.m. each day.
Visitors will learn about Victorian Christmas customs and décor and will receive a tour of the mansion.
”We are delighted to present this festive day again this year,” said John Blady, member of the society’s board of directors. He is chairing the event with his wife Mel.
”We had a wonderful attendance last year as hundreds of visitors toured the mansion and enjoyed the presentations that were conducted by our trained docents and tour guides,” added Ms. Blady.
Members of the society’s board of directors gathered last week to decorate five rooms on the first floor of the mansion.
Hot cider and cookies will be served to all visitors. Admission is free and open to the public. For more about the event or membership opportunities in the society, call 215-862-5652 or email: [email protected].
