A 13-year-old, of Princeton Arms West, was charged with weapons offenses and aggravated assault 8:18 a.m. Nov. 28.Four Kreps School students reported being shot by paintballs as they walked to school through the Princeton Arms apartments, police said. Investigation revealed the juvenile responsible for shooting at students from an open window in his apartment.
He was charged and turned over to his parent pending court action. None of the victims reported any injury, police said.
A complainant reported that her vehicle was scratched with a sharp object while parked in the parking lot of Princeton Arms North at 6:36 p.m. Nov. 29, police said. Damage was estimated at $100.
On Nettleton Drive between 6:30 p.m. Nov. 29 and 4:16 a.m. Nov. 30, a complainant reported that his vehicle was parked in the parking lot of Village East Apartments when all four wheels and tires were stolen. The vehicle was found by the complainant resting on concrete clocks, police said. The value of the theft was estimated at $2,000.
Amy Drive residents Lynn Antoine, 19, and Cynthia Joseph, 21, were charged with shoplifting at TJ Maxx near 12:30 p.m. Nov. 9, police said.
Officers responded to TJ Maxx for a report of an employee theft. Store personnel told police that Ms. Antoine had been under an internal investigation, which revealed that she had under-rung merchandise for a customer, valued at $458.67.
Ms. Antoine was charged with shoplifting and later released pending court action. Her accomplice, also her sister, was also charged with the same offense.
Ms. Joseph was later released pending court action, according to police.
Two complainants reported their vehicles’ windows being shattered while parked in the parking lot of Gold’s Gym between 2:30 p.m. and 3:36 p.m. Dec. 4. Police said the otal damage is estimated at $900.
Hightstown
At the East Windsor Township Police Department, officers arrested Bryan Langere, 20, of Jamestown Road, East Windsor, on a warrant issued by the Hightstown Borough Municipal Court in the amount of $1,000, police said, 3:36 p.m. Nov. 30.
Mr. Langere was charged with contempt of court and was later released upon posting bail with pending court action.
At the Hightstown Borough Police Department, John Feldhaus Jr., 19, of Edison Drive, East Windsor, was charged with contempt of court 8:31 p.m. Nov. 30. Police said Mr. Feldhaus Jr. turned himself in on a warrant issued by the Hightstown Borough Municipal Court in the amount of $500.
Mr. Feldhaus Jr. was later released on bail with pending court action.
Police said at 2:50 p.m. Dec. 2 on Stockton Street, officers charged Zachary Lemrich, 22, of Westerlea Arms Apartments, with possession of marijuana under fifty grams, possession of drug paraphernalia, controlled dangerous substances in a motor vehicle, and failure to make repairs.
Mr. Lemrich was stopped for a motor vehicle violation and, police said, gave his consent to search his vehicle, which lead to the recovery of the marijuana and paraphernalia.
Mr. Lemrich was later released on summons complaints with pending court action.
At 1:05 a.m. Dec. 5 on Stockton Street, Chelsey Cappa, 20, of Cranbury, was charged with contempt of court. Ms. Cappa was arrested by Cranbury Township Police Department on a warrant issued by Hightstown Borough Municipal Court in the amount of $500, police said. Ms. Cappa was unable to post bail and was later transported to Mercer County Adult Correction in lieu bail.
